It started in 1941 when they started making the jeeps that we know now. The light 4 wheel drive go any where vehicles. They were built for the military in world war II. Then after the war they began to sell to the public. There models began to change they came out with the jeep truck in 1947.It was a hit it was one of the most light wight versatile trucks on the market. I love these trucks and own one my self i am working on getting it to getter for the car show next year.
